Rainbow's Week at Paynes Prairie State Park

Ahhhhhmazing....a whole week to unwind and relax, just what the gals need.  Jeez I have never seen them so tense.  Well we are in the right place to change that for them.
Wow here we are just parked and bam someone want's me to pose for a picture, well of course I said yes!!  Happy to supply smiles and retro emotions for all who stop by to visit with me.   Yes now we have a fire, it's looking better already, oh groovy Judi is pulling out the lights for nighttime viewing.  We are set and time to explore.

Hammock time for Marla.....oh yes we can't for get Maja chillin' too!

Relaxing time is over now lets walk some trails......

La Chua Trail

Chin-ups for Marla

This speaks for itself, YIKES!!!

Dang those gals were brave,  so glad they arrived back to camp safe and sound!    Rest up and Judi and Maja are off again going GeoCaching, she found it and took a small Owl button and left one of the lizards that glows in the dark.  Now back to camp...

Day 4 and the smells of breakfast is wafting through the forest, what will today bring?
Today a 2 mile hike on the Chachula Trail and another Geo Cach find for Judi at the trailhead.

Shhh gator by the trail....

Hurry gals back to camp, whew that was a close call.
Back at camp safe and sound and Edith and Irwin from Montana stopped by they love me and they even have their own blogsite but Judi seems to have a quick forgetter...smh.   Okay now we get ready to meet up with Madine and Davey in Gaineville for pizza .

Satchel's Pizza in Gainesville was a real find what a groovy place and fun stuff to look at.  Lots of retro stuff and awesome service and fantastic food!   It was awesome meeting up with Madine and Davey and just catching up on everything.

Now who is this dude Marla is hanging out with, hummm what is he digging up?

Day 5
Judy and DJ came for a visit the gals all had breakfast at Pearls and chilled.

Day 6 Judi and Marla walked more trails and saw a Bison up close and personal and saw plenty of deer.   I think they were a little scared if ya ask me.  (shhh don't tell em I said so ).
Today's trails was Jacksons Trail and Part of Cones Dike trail and then back to the Observation Deck.

Pretty Lady and one cool tree!

Okay now this is too close...scary..

Not where's Waldo.....Where's Bison??

Day 7   time to pack up and say goodby what a great time we had here and we will be back again.  PPP is just an awesome place to visit and so much to see one more photo from Judi's point of view, always remember to look up....

From the Observation deck off of 441...Judi lying on her back on the deck and doing what she always tries to do...beauty is all around us just be still and look.
Peace out, till our next adventure...
