NSSO 2012 Camp-In

Hey everyone we attended our 1st NSSO Winter Camp-In!  This was so much fun the gals spent the weekend relaxing.  Judy and Maya also attended the camp-in making this a very fun weekend.  Hot Dogs on the grill were on tap for Friday night and steaks on an open fire for Saturday. Yes now I am rocking new colors and new denim threads and oh yes, check out the material for the curtains which will match the bedspread.  One ringy-dingy, yes this is ringing my chimes. And I hear we are having a "Camp In " with some friends starting Thursday.  Can't wait to see our friends and smell that campfire again. Peace out bloggers....

Oh this is so embarrassing but yes I have to admit this is how I looked.  Not nice huh??  But look at me now!!!  I am grooving on the new color and my counter top just makes my spigot run..lol.

Super Painting Day!

Groovy baby here are the gals sprucing me up and giving me that warm and fuzzy feeling.  They are working so hard to make me look super cool.  Color, color, color that is what is happening.  It has been so long since I have felt this alive!  My insides are just grooving on this new decor.  Cushions are denim, my new counter top is a wavy green and I am full of pastel colors!  I heard the gals say they are going to start on the curtains and then I will soon be finished.  Oh swwwweeeeetttt.  They will be posting some before and after pics too real soon, so for now Peace Out...

Special towels made by Mama Woods!!   Wow I am groovy now!!  I am so lucky these gals found me.  I was just hanging out feeling so lonely and now I it's like I am coming back to life.  Someone cares...sigh...I just know there will be lots of adventures and new friends in our future!  Peace out....

Ringing in the New Year's

Well we are a tad behind posting this but it has just been a busy time.   The gals had a great New Year's Weekend Camp Out.  And I had so many visitors, a campfire, 4 legged critters and lots of laughter, not to mention the food.  The gals took a break from fixing me up to just enjoying being with me and playing cards and relaxing.  As you can see from the pictures they had a great time.  So Happy New Year to all and I am anxiously awaiting to see what new changes come about for me in the year ahead!  Peace out...

Fabric and Foam Finally!!

Oh what a long ride home Judi had laying on top of the foam for my new cushions!!  I was so excited when they shared them with me yesterday evening.  Marla and Judi sat on the new foam for the dinette and played Tri-Ominos.  Then they went to sleep on 5 inches of comfortable foam cut for the bed area.  Next the gals are going to wrap the cushions in a denim fabric with a few flowers on them....oh so 60's!!  The denim will cover the foam pieces and the colorful material will be the curtains and bedding!   I can't wait for the hanging beads.  Oh and did I mention they bought a black light too!!  Funky!!  I hear rumors that there will be a back yard camp out on New Years Eve weekend!!  I can't wait till we all get together and ring in the New Years!!  Maybe we can post some pictures too!  Till next time "Peace Out!"
