Missing the Girls and Home....

Rainbow meets Mac...

Well here I am Judi left me at Mackair, what is this place,I am all alone, what a bummer.  I don't know what is going to happen to me next and it kinda smells like paint fumes in here.  Mac seems nice enough and even happy to see me, but it's kinda spooky I am locked in a garage at night and all alone, like on a bad trip!  I'm trying not to get freaked out!!!
Wait here comes Mac, gee he does seem like a laid back dude.  Wait, what, what the heck,  he is taping me up, oh here it comes paint fumes....cough, cough....
OH GROOVY BABY....I am getting my groove on now...look out....the gals dream is coming true!

NEWS FLASH!!!

I'm so happy, so very happy!!  I am finally going to get a paint job, by a professional  ( www.MackAir.com) too!!  This is the best news, I am hearing peace symbols, flowers, rainbows, (of course) and I hope a smiley face too...and a wide array of colors.   Oh I can't contain myself.     Judi is just beaming and was so happy to share this with me.  Yes you heard me right....we talk...

On Sunday Judi and DJ are going to patch a leak in my roof and then off to be painted.  Sure hoping I will be ready by Marla and Judi's upcoming camping trip.

More from Tomoka

The gals enjoyed the Pioneer dudes they were dressed in period clothing and had a lot of items from that time period to share and learn about.  I heard Marla say they saw a few deer and even found another Geo Cache.  Then they spent an evening at the outpost and listened to the Dani play the mandolin and sing some awesome songs.  This is a super place to kayak, but the gals left theirs at home this trip.  this is close to home and they may come back here again.  A few more pictures and peace out my friends..

October trip to Tomoka

This was a special trip for the gals as they were celebrating their 11th Anniversary together and the day before that was Judi's 35th Sober AA anniversary.  I am so proud of them both and even happier they found me.  The trip to Tomoka was still a little warm and buggy but not as bad as Paynes Prairie was the previous month....I don't like lovebugs...ugh.  Tomoka campsites are very small only a few wide ones and they are really close together.  But Judi and Marla had a great time and met some really great people the last day.

 Small and tight but doable, the gals walked trails and even saw some deer.....

This was the best part walking the trails and heading up to the top of the fire tower.  The gals didn't see bison but plan a trip back here so they can walk a few more trails.   Judi didn't get a shot of the swing that was on the deck of the fire tower but it was an awesome place to sit and just peace out.........  A return trip is already planned....hope to see you there...peace...hugs....and many happy camping days.....

My gals loved this and have placed this park at the top of their list.  Lots to do and even more to see here we loved the drive to get here and no problem parking me, plenty of room.  Shhhhh, don't tell Judi but she is slowly getting better at backing me in.  The gals walked some trails, went Geo Caching and enjoyed the wildlife.  They took a trip to Micanopy, Judi just loves saying that word, lol, I had to stay behind.
